The 'Manx Missile' has paid tribute to the teammates who helped him achieve arguably the biggest success of his incredible cycling career.
Mark Cavendish yesterday (Sunday) became only the second Briton to win the men's road race world championship, the other success being Tommy Simpson's victory in 1965.
Cav triumphed in a sprint finish after stellar work from his Great Britain colleagues throughout the 266km race around the streets of Copenhagen.
Speaking to the BBC straight after his triumph, he said he couldn't have done it without the likes of Ben Swift, Bradley Wiggins and Geraint Thomas:
