Oates takes Blue Point honours

Thirty shooters took part in the second round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Sporting Summer League at Blue Point on Sunday, sponsored by Harding Lewis Limited.

Kevin Oates was the winner, scoring 45/50.  Alan Kinrade was second on 43 with Nigel Moffatt taking third on 41.

Results:

A Class: 1, Kevin Oates 45/50; 2, Alan Kinrade 43; 3, Nigel Moffatt 41.

B Class: 1, Tom Keggen 40; 2, Paul Magee 38; 3, Wayne Corlett 37.

C Class: 1= Kevin Airey and Tony Tongue 31; 3, Ted Davis and Fred Waggett 28.

This week’s competitions are 100 Olympic Trap, sponsored by Absolute Scaffolding Limited and 50 Sportrap. Entries close at 10.15am.
