Sporting success for Marty

Twenty shooters took part in the fourth round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Sporting Winter League at Blue Point yesterday (Sunday).

Marty Kneen was the winner of the Chrystals Estate Agents sponsored competition, scoring 43/50.

There was a three way tie for second between Alan Brew, Alan Kinrade and Kevin Oates on 40.

Results:

A Class: 1, Marty Kneen 43; 2=, Kevin Oates, Alan Brew and Alan Kinrade 40.

B Class: 1=, Corina Clague and Jordan Dougherty 29.

C Class: 1, Fred Waggett 38; 2, Jamie Hancox 35; 3=, Richie Howland, Peter Lowe and Tony Tongue 34.

This Sunday at Blue Point is the fourth round of the Penketh-Millar sponsored English Skeet winter league. Entries close at 10.15am.
