Manx Enduro star David Knight has started the defence of his Grand National Cross Country title in the United States of America in superb style.
He dominated the 2008 series opener, "The Triton" at Melbourne in Florida.
In very sandy conditions, Knighter finished over five minutes ahead of his nearest rival at the end, after taking the lead on Lap Three.
By the finish, he was lapping nearly two minutes faster than the rest of the field.
Round Two of the series is this weekend when "The General" takes place at Washington in Georgia
