Tributes at Boro and Ballafletcher
Around 300 people turned up to Ballafletcher on Saturday morning to remember Island footballer Louis Thornton.
Players, officials, supporters and family paid tribute to the Corinthians captain who passed away nine days ago aged 26.
Tribute was also paid to him during Saturday’s Premier League match between Middlesbrough and Spurs.
Louis was a lifelong supporter of Boro and on Match of the Day on Saturday night, commentator Guy Mowbray remarked on respect paid to him by fans.
