Police in Essex have confirmed they've charged another man in connection with an incident at the home of Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish in 2021.
Jo Jobson, who is 26-years-old and of no fixed abode, has been accused of two counts of robbery and is due to appear in court today.
Cavendish’s Ongar home was targeted in the early hours of Saturday, 27 November – the Manxman was also assaulted and threatened in front of his family.
In February two men from London – Ali Sesay and Romario Henry - were sentenced to a combined total of 35 years in prison for their involvement in the incident.
Mr Jobson has also been charged with two counts of attempted grievous bodily harm relating to a separate incident in July 2022.
