A 'steady result' - that was Conor Cummins's verdict on his 12th place finish in the Metzeler National Superstock Championship on Sunday.
Thruxton circuit was the scene for round two of the championship and weather conditions were certainly better than the preceding meeting at Brands Hatch.
Gavin Hunt was fastest of the Manx contingent, scoring a ninth place finish, whilst Dan Kneen on the Marks Bloom Racing Suzuki came home in 18th.
Guy Martin, Conor's Tyco Suzuki team mate, was a DNF in the same race.
As thoughts start to turn to the big road race meetings including the Northwest 200 and TT, Conor posted on Twitter, 'Steady result at Thruxton this weekend. P12 and valuable tracktime.
"Thanks to Tyco Suzuki for another great weekend'.
