Manxman Colvin first away for Junior MGP

Close-fought class anticipated again in 2023

Manx rider, Marc Colvin is set to lead the order for this year's Junior MGP race on the Snaefell Mountain Course.

The top 20 seeded riders for the class have been announced with Colvin at No.1 in a race where he secured third place in 2022.

Behind him will be Italian Andrea Majola at No.2 who just missed out on a podium spot last year in fourth - Jamie Williams, Victor Lopez and Daniel Ingham will make up No.3 to No.5 respectively.

With a gap at No.6 this year, Ingham will be followed 20 seconds later by Jack Fowler at No.7 - Michael Rees and David McConnachy are down for No.8 and No.9 with spot No.10 also vacant in 2023.

Elsewhere, three-time MGP winner, Dan Sayle, will set off from No.11 whilst Jason Cocoran at No.12 and Mark Herbertson at No.13 will be among those utilising Kawasaki power.

Among several riders on board Aprilia machinery will be Eoin O Siochru at No.14 and Alex Sinclair at No.16 - sandwiched between them at No.15 will be Samuel Mousley on the Heattech Racing Yamaha.

Meanwhile, No.17 and No.18 respectively will be occupied by Alun Brooks and Lewis Arrowsmith with Daniel Forbes and Andy Lovett rounding out the top 20.

The four-lap Junior MGP race is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 26 August at 4pm.
