Manxman aiming for top ten this year
Manx TT rider Michael Evans has announced he will join Dafabet Racing for 2025.
The Santon man has announced he will be competing in the Superstock, Superbike and Supertwin classes for this years event.
Evans will also be switching to the Honda Machinery for the 1000cc races in June.
The 31-year-old said: "I'm really excited for this opportunity with Dafabet Racing especially with a bike as competitive as the Honda Fireblade; a truly competitive bike that has been missing for me.
"The Suzuki has served me well and I've been pleased with the results and the progress we've made as a small team, but you only have to look at the entry at the International Road Races and BSB to realise the Honda is the bike to be on."
2024 was a good year for Evans, setting a new personal best lap of 128.232mph during the Superbike TT, and finishingas high as 16th in the Senior TT.
But Evans is hoping for more in 2025:
"I believe I am capable of more and getting close to the top ten as possible on the big bike will be the main aim."
