Isle of Man golfers Kevin Moore and Paul McMullan are through to the last 16 of the Eden Trophy at the home of golf, St Andrews.
Moore fired qualifying rounds of 76 and 78 in windy and wet conditions on Monday to finish tied in 24th place while McMullan produced a great second round to squeeze in tied in 46th position after scores of 82 and 75.
In the matchplay stages, Moore beat Andrew Laurence of the Baberton Club 3 & 2 and Alex Collman of West Herts again by a 3 & 2 margin.
McMullan has beaten Conor McGurgan of County Armagh 4 & 2 and Matthew Chiddington of Heythrop Park 6 & 4.
Kevin is now up against Simon Cox of Rushden and Paul faces Bradley Harris of The Dyke Club.
If both get through their last 16 ties, they will meet at the quarter-final stage.
The Eden Trophy was first played over 90 years ago in 1919.
