Class wins for Davies and Moore
John Moore was in superb form, shooting a 50 straight to win the third round of the Cu Plas Callow Winter series Down The Line league at Meary Veg in Santon yesterday (Sunday).
Twenty competitors took part in near ideal conditions and it was Moore who took the honours, winning A class with 148 points.
In second place with 146 points and 50 straight was Alan Wade with a tie for third place between Mike Walker and Nigel Kelly on 137 points.
George Davies won B class from Giulio Fabrizio and Jack Clague.
Roy Moore was a clear winner in C class with colt Arran Wade the runner-up and newcomer Gianni Fabrizio in third position.
Next weekend is the fourth and final round of the Cu Plas Callow Winter series English skeet league.
