More disappointment for Knighter

It was a weekend to forget for David Knight as clutch problems forced him out of the third round of the World Enduro Championship in Iglesias, Sardinia.

He failed to finish either of his races, dropping out at test seven on Saturday and only making it to test two yesterday.

They were won by Sebastien Guillaume and Ivan Cervantes respectively.

Knighter has struggled since his return to the WEC, a series he dominated for two years before he went on to secure two consecutive GNCC titles in America.

The Ballaugh rider has had problems with his BMW bike, which he switched to this year after great success with KTM.

He's currently tenth in the overall standings with 45 points, 100 points behind first-placed Cervantes.
