Mark Cavendish heads into the Pyrenees at the Tour de France today (Thursday), proudly sporting the green jersey.
He jumped to the top of the points classification yesterday by winning stage eleven's bunch sprint finish in emphatic fashion.
It was his third stage victory at the 2011 event and his 18th overall.
Tweeting after the win, Cavendish, as always, paid tribute to his teammates, then added: 'Finally got my grubby little Manx mitts on the Green Jersey. We will try and keep it until Paris. Two more sprints, Montpellier and Paris!'
That will be a big challenge for the 'Manx Missile', as the next three days will be in the mountains, before the next flat stage into Montpellier on Sunday.
