The latest bid by Peel to overturn a three point deduction has been rejected by the Isle of Man Football Association.
Originally Peel were penalised six points for playing new signing Terry Rigaux at the start of the current season while he was suspended.
He moved to the island last summer and was still under suspension from his time at previous club Burtonwood Albion, who play in the Warrington and District League - a fact not known by Peel or the Isle of Man Football Association.
The F.A. appeal panel says "it accepted a degree of mitigation" but concluded that the lesser penalty imposed was not excessive.
It means Peel drop to 5th place in the Sure Mobile Premier League on 41 points.
