Young stars for Nomads
Ramsey B beat Douglas B 64-26 at the Mooragh Park to keep their place at the top of the pile in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.
Kaylem Watterson, Craig Long, Dave Keenan and Ben Harding all scored two apiece for Ramsey with Jared Callister and Jordan Walsh getting one each.
Keenan also kicked seven conversions.
For Douglas, Nathan Knights crossed for a hat-trick of tries, Tyrone Smith got one and Mark Shortland kicked three conversions.
Defending champions Southern Nomads bounced back from defeat to thrash Vagabonds B 89-0 at Ballafletcher.
Rob Craine and Gerard Landels both scored hat-tricks for Nomads, with Mark Young, Ally Kelly, Josh Samuels, Leon Landels, Jacob Callow, Dan Watterson and Tom Davies all getting one.
Young also kicked 12 conversions.
At King William’s College, Western Vikings defeated Emerging Nomads 60-5.
Martin Charker was the only Nomad to score.
For Vikings, the try machine Kevin Mellor ran in four.
There were also scores from Liam Sweeney, Peter Crowe, Jonathan Crellin, Conor Casey, Dan Magee and Oliver Creasey with Joe Whitelegg kicking five conversions.
