Two away matches in three days for FC Isle of Man
FC Isle of Man's manager says he expects a "tough" weekend as his side face two sides in three days away from home in the NWCFL Premier Division.
Paul Jones' men first travel to Lancashire on Saturday (24 August) to take on playoff-hopeful's Charnock Richard FC with kick off at Mossie Park scheduled for 3pm.
After getting back to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Litherland REMYCA last weekend (17 August), Jones is hoping his side can build on the momentum.
However, FC Isle of Man are still yet to win away at Charnock Richard and the Ravens' boss says they are a strong side:
Charnock are currently one of four teams yet to lose this season in the Premier Division after winning three and drawing one in their opening games.
The Lancashire team sit in seventh place on 10 points.
The Manx side will then be back in action on Bank Holiday Monday (26 August) to take on newly-promoted Stockport Town FC at Stockport Sports Village, with kick off at 1pm.
FC Isle of Man beat Stockport Town twice in their first season in the English league, and Jones is hoping they can have a similar result on Monday afternoon:
The Stockport side sit sixth in the league table after having won three of their opening six games.
