Laxey rider injured in UK on Sunday
Race organisers in Scarborough say Manx rider Billy Redmayne is in a critical condition in hospital this evening.
The 25 year old from Laxey was injured in an incident at Oliver’s Mount on Sunday as he was competing in the Bob Smith Spring Cup.
He was taken to hospital in Scarborough before being airlifted to the James Cook Hospital in Middlesborough.
The Auto 66 Racing Club says he was placed on a ventilator and is currently in a critical condition.
His family are with him.
The statement says everybody at Oliver's Mount sends Billy and his family their best wishes.
