2025 marks 70th anniversary of racing at Billown
The countdown to racing on the Billown Course in 2025 will officially begin with the latest Southern 100 launch event in the south of the Island tomorrow night.
Taking place at a new venue this year, the annual Southern 100 media launch will be held at Civic Centre on Farrants Way, Castletown on Friday evening (21 February) from 7pm.
Organisers say the event will once again include interviews with riders and key sponsors along with the Clerk of the Course Giles Olley.
This year marks an important milestone for racing at Billown with 2025 marking the 70th anniversary of the Southern 100.
It's also expected that the schedules for the two race meetings on the course this year - the Pre-TT Classic Road Races and Southern 100 Road Races - will be confirmed during the event.
The Pre-TT Classic is due to be the first of the two from Friday, 23 May to Sunday, 25 May with the Southern 100 penned in for between Monday, 7 July and Thursday, 10 July.
Tomorrow's S100 launch will be broadcast live on Manx Radio from 7pm tomorrow (21 February) on our AM1368 channel and via the AM player at Manxradio.com and the Manx Radio app.
