They saw off Michael 9-1 at Ballafletcher.
After a tight first half in which the hosts led 2-1, Royal produced a commanding second half showing.
Chris Anderson (two), Craig Dolman (two), Andrew Lancaster, John Quirk, Paul Whitley, James Clarke and an own goal capped a comprehensive afternoon for the home side.
Mike Hammond scored for Michael but it ultimately proved to be a consolation.
Castletown suffered another blow to their promotion hopes.
They were held to a 1-1 draw at Onchan.
Rob Byrne put the hosts ahead shortly before the break before Connor Garrett headed an equaliser early in the second half.
A hat-trick from Ashley Heginbotham helped Marown win 6-2 at Douglas and District.
There was also one apiece from Niall Quayle, Bobby Thorne and Joey Rothwell.
Mark Quirk and Luke Callister were on target for D&D who battled hard during the first half.
Joel Canipa and Ray Levelle scored the goals as Pulrose won 2-1 at Gymns, who replied through Jordan Cooper.
