After nearly a year and a half unbeaten in Manx football, holders Corinthians’ hopes of a repeat success were ended as they went down 3-0 to Douglas Royal in Sunday’s semi-final.
Donna Shimmin (two) and Vicky Worthington grabbed the goals for Royal to book their final spot where they’ll meet Gymns who were 4-1 winners over Castletown.
A hat-trick from Island international Eleanor Gawne and one from Rachel Beckley fired the Tromode side to their first ever women’s final.
