Defeats all round in Counties 3 ADM Lancs/Cheshire

Both Ramsey and Vagabonds suffered defeats in Counties 3 ADM Lancs/Cheshire.

Ramsey went down 50-29 to Burnley at the Mooragh Park, while Vagabonds lost 45-17 to Oldham at Ballafletcher.

Burnley led 26-22 at half time after a hat-trick from wing Harry Cole and a breakaway try from Ayrton Campbell.

Cole converted one and Joe Bramhall three.

Ramsey replied through Dan Kelly but looked to be out of five before half time.

Matt Meechan then crashed over and two late tries from wing Will Millsopp plus a Kelly conversion saw them secure a bonus point and close to within four at the break.

Burnley however let rip after the half time break - Harry Cole ran in his fourth and fifth scores, there were also tries from Marcus Duxbury and Tom Graveston with Bramhall converting two.

Ramsey pulled one back through Josh Corteen which Kelly converted but it was too little too late.

At Ballafletcher, promotion contenders, Oldham were too powerful for 'Vagas'.

The Vagabonds set piece however continued its fine form - Ed Knight bagged a pushover try, they earned a penalty try and Harry Goodwin also weighed in with one with Cam Findlay kicking one conversion.
