Rushen are seven points clear at the top of the Sure Mobile Premier League after a second half super show.
They bounced back from their Railway Cup Final defeat on Boxing Day with a 4-0 win against FA Cup holders Old Boys.
After a first half which Old Boys edged, Rushen took the lead five minutes after the re-start and the floodgates then opened.
Aaron Hawley (two), Adam Cregeen and Chris Shimmin were all on target as Rushen moved further ahead at the summit of Peel, whose match was postponed.
The battle between two sides whose main aim is survival ended all square.
Michael and Castletown shared the points out west in a 1-1 draw – Mike Edge had put Town ahead before Michael levelled through an own goal.
St John's missed the chance to pull clear of the drop zone as Ramsey won 2-1 at Mullen-e-Cloie, thanks to goals from Danny Foulis and Steven Cleator.
