Numerous pieces of silverware up for grabs in annual event
One of the Isle of Man's major sailing events is set to return for 2023 this weekend.
The annual Round the Isle of Man Race is set to take place on Saturday (1 July) seeing competing teams across three different divisions negotiate Manx waters throughout the course of the day.
A series of trophies up for grabs including the prestigious Coronation Cup as well as The Ramsey Town Trophy and The Corrin Trophy.
The organisers, the Manx Sailing & Cruising Club, say any spectators can enjoy a good view of the event from the start point at Ramsey Bay and also the Point of Ayre between 9am and 10.30am.
They add there will also be good spectating points along the west, south and east coasts before competitors eventually finish in Ramsey Harbour.
Prizegiving for the event will then take place the following day on Sunday, 2 July, from noon until 1.30pm.
