St George's the undisputed number one
St George’s are the undisputed kings of Manx football.
That’s after they clinched an unprecedented third Grand Slam – their third in just six years.
They sealed a clean-sweep of all the major trophies with a 2-0 victory over Peel in yesterday’s (Sunday) Craig Heartstrong Foundation Hospital Cup Final at the Bowl.
Ciaran McNulty rolled in a 13th minute opener before substitute Callum Morrissey headed home a decisive second four minutes from time.
St George’s have now claimed six of the last seven Hospital Cups, seven straight Railway Cups, four out of the last six FA Cups and 12 out of the last 14 Premier Leagues (including old First Divisions) in an unmatched spell of dominance.
