Showers cut short action on day two of the meeting

Davey Todd continued to top the timesheets on the second night of practice at the Southern 100.

His best time of 2:12.303 (115.644mph) on the Superbike was just 0.5 seconds ahead of nearest challenger Dean Harrison.

Michael Dunlop was quickest in the yellow-plate Supersport class, with Dominic Herbertson setting the pace on the white-plate machines, while Rob Hodson continued to lead the way in the Lightweights.

In the sidecars, Ryan and Callum Crowe posted the best time of 2:31.206, just ahead of Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie.

The first races of the meeting had to be postponed though due to a shower affecting the roads around the Billown course.

A revised schedule will be issued by organisers later.
