Olympic star is guest of honour

Manx sporting success will be celebrated at the Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards tonight.

The stars will be out at the Villa Marina later, with awards, scholarships and bursaries all due to be handed out at the two-part event.

Guest of honour is Great Britain hockey legend Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE.

She'll tour the Island earlier in the day, before being on hand at the Villa this evening to hand out the gongs.

Isle of Man Sport Aid's Chris Quine says it's always a special event.
