Barrow rider won the 2012 Privateers Championship
Former TT Privateers champion Dan Stewart has called time on his road racing career at the age of 42.
The Barrow-in-Furness rider registered no fewer than 19 top ten TT finishes, including coming sixth in both the 2009 and 2010 Senior races.
Stewart's career highlight, though, came in 2012, when he joined a select group of riders with his triumph in the Privateers Championship.
He took to social media to announce his retirement and hinted he might not be away from the sport for too long, saying he's 'been offered a couple of roles within the paddock'.
