Nineteen visiting drivers have travelled to the Island for the event, and first away will be Stockport's Dave Patterson and his co-driver Andy Marchbank.
They will be followed by the first of the local challengers, with Steven Quine and Richard Skinner second away in a Mitsubishi Evo 6.
There are six stages tonight, with two runs through Slieau Whallian, St Mark's and Balladoole.
