Representation at Island and commonwealth levels
Sixteen youngsters from the Isle of Man Sport Aid Academy will represent the island over the coming weeks.
Twelve will be in Gotland at the Island Games next week competing in archery, athletics, golf, gymnastics and swimming.
Athlete David Mullarky and swimmers Euan Macmurchie, Joel Watterson and Kazia Whittaker have been selected for the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas next month.
The Isle of Man Sport Aid Academy started two years ago and sits below Sports Aid.
It aims to begin the process of giving students aged 13 to 17 the skills needed to become elite athletes.
