Third time lucky for TT practice

Riders finally get out on Mountain course

It was third time lucky for TT organisers as weather finally allowed competitors to get some laps in around the Mountain course on Monday night.

Superbike, Superstock, Lightweight, Newcomers and Sidecars all took to the circuit for the first time at this year's festival.

The highlight came in the Superbike practice from a pair who appear keen to reignite their rivalry from last year.

Michael Dunlop registered two laps in excess of 125mph on his Suzuki.

But the fastest man of the night was Ian Hutchinson who posted a 125.84mph lap on his second lap in the Superbike practice.

The duo have 27 TT wins between them and were involved in a dispute over piston sizes at last year's event.
