Triathlon: Andrew & Clara Isaac take top spots in IoM Sprint Triathlon

Top athletes descend on sunny Ramsey for day of racing

Husband and wife Andrew and Clara Isaac have taken top honours during the 2025 IoM Sprint Triathlon in Ramsey.

The duo took first place in the open and women's races respectively with Mr Isaac the only competitor involving a 750m swim to complete the course in under one hour (57 minutes, 47 seconds).

Meanwhile, Mrs Isaac won the female race with a time of one hour, seven minutes and 18 seconds which also placed her 13th overall.

Completing the open top three were Christopher Lawless in second (one hour, 44 seconds) and Neil Kelly third (one hour, one minute and 12 seconds).

Elsewhere, joining Clara Isaac on the women's podium was Laura Kinley who finished second (one hour, nine minutes and 52 seconds) whilst Wiktoria Maliszak crossed the line in third (one hour, 11 minutes and 14 seconds).

A separate solo race involving a 400m swim also took place with Helene Quaye taking top spot (one hour, 24 minutes and 18 seconds).

Securing first place in the team event for the men's race and overall was NSC (Jacob Brooks, Gianni Epifani and Jordan Cain) with a total time of 56 minutes, 54 seconds.

The best mixed team performance of 58 minutes, 56 seconds went to Plenty of R&R (Vicki Rawlinson, Andrew Roche and Brayden Roche).

Along with praising the efforts of all involved in the event, Manx Tri Club is also thanking Special Olympics Isle of Man for their contributions as they fielded two teams on the day.
