Volunteers, new and experienced, invited to register online
Signing on for marshals for the 2023 Isle of Man TT Races has officially opened.
The TT Marshals Association (TTMA) is looking for individuals, both new and experienced, who can staff the Snaefell Mountain Course on one or several days of the event.
All those interested in volunteering are being invited to register online.
Existing marshals will be able to login and register the days they're available, whilst new volunteers will be invited to sign up and will then have to complete two online training modules.
Meanwhile, following a trial at the 2022 Manx Grand Prix, a new '00' sector will be introduced for marshals to sign onto.
Those who register for that sector are then able to be deployed anywhere on the course to help minimise any delays to the start of sessions.
TTMA Director, Jane Corlett, says anyone who gets involved will be made to 'feel very welcome'.
She adds those who take on a role for the first time will be looked after by a Chief Sector Marshal as well as having an experienced marshal with them to help them learn.
