It was a day of mixed fortunes for Manx road racer Dan Kneen at the Ulster Grand Prix yesterday.
Earlier in the day he won the Superstock race, to continue his excellent form on Irish roads this year.
He edged Dean Harrison by just one-thousandth of a second, in the closest finish in UGP history.
But in the first Supersport race he was involved in a collision with Harrison, breaking his foot in the crash.
Harrison suffered minor injuries and fractures.
Keith Amor was also injured in the incident.
