
Vagas Ladies beat Northwich 24-10 at Ballafletcher to move five points clear at the top of Women’s NC North One.
Vagas took an early lead through a Sorrelle Williams try, converted by Corinna Daly.
Fran Hunt added Vagas’ second try before Northwich pulled one back via Hannah Tunnicliffe to trail 12-5 at half-time.
In the second half, Rachel Beckley and Abbie Corkish both crossed for Vagabonds with Daly adding a second conversion to make the lead a comfortable 24-5 with 10 minutes remaining.
Rachel Phillips pulled one back for Northwich in the closing stages but it wasn’t enough to affect the outcome.
