Women's side up to third
Vagabonds beat Ormskirk 58-5 at Ballafletcher to bring the curtain down on their home fixtures this season and move back into third place in Womens NC North 1.
Two tries and a conversion from Sammie Macdonald and a try apiece for the Daly sisters, Jackie and Corrina, saw Vagas leading comfortably 22-5 at half-time.
In the second half Ormskirk put up spirited resistance and the scorers were untroubled for 20 minutes but, when the breakthrough came, the floodgates opened.
Vanessa Tranter ran in two and there were also tries from Fran Hunt, Jules Harrison and Cassie Kennaugh.
Jackie Daly rounded proceedings off with her second and, in between all those, Macdonald and Corrina Daly picked off three conversions between them.
