Heartbreak after dramatic game at Ashbourne
Valkyrs ladies are out of the England Hockey Investec Women's Tier 3 Championship after a thrilling struggle away to Ashbourne.
The game ended 3-3 with Andrea Littlejohns on target twice and Amy Speed with the other goal.
The sides still couldn't be separated after the game went to a penalty flick shoot out.
A marathon sudden-death competition eventually resulted in Valkyrs going out 13-12.
Valkyrs had a bye in the first round and beat Ramsey 1-0 in the previous round.
