There were some outstanding performances from the large squad of Team Scottish Provident Isle of Man riders who competed in the youth support races at the finish of the Tour of Britain in Liverpool yesterday (Sunday).
Star of the show was Adam Johnson who outsprinted breakaway partners Jack Penrice and Robert Crampton (both Sport City Velo) for an impressive victory in the under 16's event.
There were also excellent top six finishes for Matthew Bostock, Leon Mazzone and Callum Donnell who were second, fourth and fifth respectively in the under 12's race.
