Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings is missing today's Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in Sochi, Russia.
She's decided to continue training in Europe with her event not scheduled until a week on Sunday.
Zoe says she would have loved to experience the thrill of marching out in Great Britain colours but competition preparation has to come first:-
