Changes see TT services reduced
The 2025 Douglas Bay Horse Tramway timetable has been published and there are some changes this year.
Among them; a reduced schedule during the TT period.
Whereas previously two trams would be in service across a number of days during the racing fortnight this year there will just be the one.
Meanwhile, towards the end of the season in October and early November, a shorter timetable will be used which will see the final tram of the day depart at 3:35pm instead of 5:35pm.
The horse trams will return to Douglas Promenade on Thursday, 3 April.
Currently the tramway only runs between Derby Castle and the Villa Marina.
The full track, which would run all the way to the Sea Terminal, is yet to be reinstated following the refurbishment of Douglas Promenade.
