Thirty-five people died in the tragedy
More than 60 people were in attendance at an event to remember the victims of the Winter Hill air disaster.
Thirty-five people died and seven were injured when a plane crashed on its way from Ronaldsway to Manchester 60 years ago today.
A special service took place at Cooill Y Ree Park in St John's earlier to commemorate the occasion.
President-elect of Douglas Rotary Club, David Gawne, laid a wreath at the memorial plaque marking the tragedy:
