Unions have seen 'little progress' since serving notice of ballot
There's been little progress in the ongoing pay dispute between teachers and education bosses since it was announced three unions would be balloting their members over a potential strike.
That's according to national secretary of the NAHT, Rob Kelsall.
Ballot papers on whether teaching staff should take industrial action, including the possibility of a walkout, will go out to members of the NAHT, NASUWT and ASCL today.
Mr Kelsall insists the unions have made their position known:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
