Hadn't passed extended driving test
A Douglas man will be sentenced in December after a court heard he breached a driving ban imposed for causing death by dangerous driving.
Fifty-year-old Shaun James William Webb, of Reginald Mews, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to a single count of driving while disqualified on 14 May.
Webb was convicted of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving in 2006.
He was handed a 10-year ban and ordered to stay off the roads until he'd passed an extended driving test.
However police were tipped off Webb was driving from Port Erin, in a silver Renault Laguna, and waited outside his home.
The caught him parking the car and he admitted he only had a provisional licence and had never passed a driving test.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 and he'll appear in court for sentencing on 16 December.
