Sir Richard Gozney to be sworn in at Douglas in May
The Island's new Lieutenant Governor will be sworn in to office this May - and unusually, it's taking place in Douglas.
It's a major break in tradition for the ceremony, which has historically been held at the courtroom in the former capital of Castletown.
But the building has now fallen out of use, meaning Sir Richard Gozney will be inaugurated at the Isle of Man Courts of Justice on Friday, May 27.
The diplomat will replace Adam Wood, whose term ends in April.
