Two bus windows were smashed by the roof rack of a van parked on double yellow lines
Bus Vannin is asking motorists to think about buses and emergency service vehicles when parking after one of its vehicles sustained damage in Willaston.
The operator told Manx Radio a bus struck the roof rack of a van that was parked on double yellow lines on Tynwald Road at around 5pm on Tuesday.
The incident resulted in two windows being smashed - there were no injuries.
Bus Vannin says parked vehicles have caused issues in the Willaston area for some time, and is urging drivers to show consideration for the safe delivery of public transport services, as well as the impact on emergency services.
