Island-based flight seller Citywing has called for a 'light touch' approach to regulating the local aviation market.
The company's chairman and managing director have given evidence to a Tywnald inquiry into whether the current 'open skies' approach is in the best interests of the Isle of Man.
The policy offers airlines open access to Island passenger traffic which means they are free to 'cherry pick' profitable routes and flight times.
In their evidence to a Tynwald committee Citywing bosses called for light regulation, to protect existing operators who've invested in services to and from the Island.
