No more sailings for popular vessel
It's been confirmed a popular pleasure cruiser will no longer carry passengers on trips around the Island's coastline.
Captain Steve Carter of the Laxey Towing Company says the Karina was damaged during Hurricane Emma last winter.
Given her size and issues at Ramsey shipyard, he says he has been unable to get her repaired for the summer season, which would have been her last anyway.
Captain Carter says he's looking for someone else to take on the vessel
