A group of volunteers who successfully bid to take over Ramsey post office have formed a community company.
In their first major step as a business, the former cooperative has become Ramsey Courthouse Ltd - and aims to be in charge of the enterprise by 1 September.
The venture will be run on the same lines as the John Lewis partnership, where staff have a stake in the company and a share of profits.
Most of the town's Crown office staff will be re-employed by the new company.
