Councillors also keen to move seating around
Douglas Council is planning to buy 'modern' benches for the promenade.
The 'high performance' concrete seating for Loch Promenade would be 'modular' and could have picnic tables and back rests.
It will also be replacing benches which are run down and at the end of their life with the last few from a bulk order purchased in the 1990s.
A request has been put in by one of the councillors to move some of the seating from the sunken gardens to the prom - something the council has agreed to look into.
