More reports allowing Police to target more criminals, inspector says
The number of potential cyber threats reported to Manx authorities has more than doubled during 2021.
The statistics from the constabulary come as the Island's annual cyber security conference, CyberIsle, takes place throughout today (19 October).
Police have received 423 reports so far this year compared with 189 in 2020.
Meanwhile, there's an ongoing programme to train officers on cyber security matters.
