The incident was in October last year and was caused by a tiny piece of metal getting into an oil pump.
The L410, owned by Czech company Van Air Europe, was bound for Newcastle but turned around ten minutes after takeoff shortly before 2.30pm on October 18 last year.
The crew shut down the plane’s right-hand engine after noticing a drop in oil pressure and a temperature increase.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
